named Lee Farrow Executive Vice
President and Life Sciences Industry Practice Leader for
North America. In his new role,
effective immediately, he will oversee the strategy, operations and
underwriting of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, supplement, and
medical device customers.
As Life Sciences Practice Leader, Mr. Farrow will continue to
lead the full spectrum of areas that produce and support Chubb's
Life Sciences business, including its specialty in insuring
companies for their worldwide exposures and placing of local
admitted clinical trial policies around the globe. He will report
to Jim West, Executive Vice
President, North America Industry Practice Leader.
"Lee has been instrumental in the development of Chubb's Life
Sciences business, and has played an important role over the last
16 months in helping to integrate and leverage our broadened Life
Sciences capabilities," said Mr. West. "He has the skills and
expertise needed to lead the Practice and understands the unique
risk management needs of our Life Sciences customers."
Mr. Farrow has more than 20 years of experience in the insurance
industry and has held positions in claims, underwriting and house
counsel. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management
from Hartwick College and his Juris
Doctor degree from CUNY School of Law. Mr. Farrow is licensed to
practice law in New York and
New Jersey.
Stephen Harris, Senior Vice President, Chubb Life Sciences,
will now have expanded responsibilities in overseeing Chubb's
Major Accounts customer segment within the Life Sciences industry
practice. In this expanded role, he will report jointly
to Mr. Farrow and Matt Merna, Chief
Operating Officer of Chubb's North America Major Accounts
division.
Mr. Farrow succeeds Phil Fiscus
who has been appointed to Deputy Industry Practices Manager. Mr.
Fiscus also will report to Mr. West.

successful Industry Practices, Phil will utilize his experience,
creativity and focus to assist in the build-out of new Industry
Practices, and to broaden and strengthen our value proposition for
existing Industry Practices including Life Sciences," said Mr.

Mr. Fiscus has more than 36 years of insurance industry
experience. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science
from California State University. He
has received the Charter Property and Casualty Underwriting (CPCU)
professional designation.
