Metavante Completes AFS Acquisition MILWAUKEE, July 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Metavante Corporation, the financial technology subsidiary of Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (NYSE:MI), has completed its acquisition of Oklahoma City-based Advanced Financial Solutions Inc. (AFS), the leading check-imaging technology provider for over 7,000 financial institutions in the United States, and 25 other countries. In conjunction with the AFS acquisition, Metavante is also acquiring CheckClear LLC, which owns and operates Endpoint Exchange - the only operational electronic check image clearinghouse in the world today - and Medical Banking Exchange, LLC, a healthcare payment-processing platform. Each company will become a Metavante subsidiary.
