Piper Jaffray Continues Expansion of Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group

NEW YORK, May 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Piper Jaffray & Co.
is pleased to announce that it has expanded its Financial
Institutions Investment Banking Group with the hire of Nick
Golding. Golding has joined the firm as a managing director in the
Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group. Golding will head
the financial technology and services practice and will be located
in New York. This announcement follows the hire of Michael Gebo,
who heads up the insurance practice and Thomas Chen, co-head of
Financial Institutions Investment Banking Group. "We are excited to
further expand our financial institutions group with this important
hire in the financial technology and services area," said Jon
Salveson, head of Investment Banking at Piper Jaffray. "Nick comes
to Piper Jaffray with tremendous experience and knowledge in the
financial technology industry and we look forward to his

services and financial sponsor clients." Golding joins the firm
from Credit Suisse, where he was in the financial institutions
group and responsible for financial technology and services
investment banking. In the past six years, Golding completed more
than 20 transactions totaling more than $6 billion in deal value.
Overall, Golding brings over 15 years of investment banking
experience to Piper Jaffray. Golding graduated from Queen's
University in Kingston, Canada with a bachelor's degree in
