TORONTO, ONTARIO ("Geoinformatics" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the results of recent exploration drilling on the Pozo de Nacho Project, which is part of the Geoinformatics-Azure Minerals Joint Venture (the "Joint Venture") in the State of Sonora, Mexico.

Azure Minerals Limited ("Azure"; Australian Securities Exchange: AZS) conducted a successful Phase 2 drill campaign at Pozo de Nacho as operator of the Joint Venture. Azure is earning a 51% interest in Pozo de Nacho and 13 other Joint Venture properties through the expenditure of US$4 million.

Highlights:

The recent Phase 2 drilling at Pozo de Nacho has confirmed widespread molybdenum mineralization which was initially delineated in previous Joint Venture and historical drilling. The drill results included long intersections in three different drill holes of:

- 124.2 metres grading 0.05% MoS2;

- 183.7 metres grading 0.05% MoS2; and

- 138.9 metres grading 0.07% MoS2.

The molybdenite (MoS2) mineralized zone has now been interpreted over an area of 800 by 500 metres from surface to depths in excess of 300 metres and remains open in most directions.

Please note: To view Figure 1, please view the following link on the Marketwire site: http://www.ccnmatthews.com/docs/gxl1127.pdf.

Pozo de Nacho Project

The Pozo de Nacho Project is located approximately 100 kilometres southeast of Hermosillo in Sonora on the western edge of the Sierra Madre Occidental. All prior Joint Venture drill holes intersected molybdenite (molybdenum disulphide (MoS2)) in sedimentary and intrusive quartz feldspar porphyry rocks.

The Sierra Madre Occidental in Sonora, Mexico is a world-class mineral province with several large base metal and precious metal deposits currently being mined.

Phase 2 Drill Results

The results for Phase 2 and Phase 1 drilling, including historical drill results (Table 1), indicate the presence of significant and widespread molybdenite mineralization at Pozo de Nacho. Based on Azure's interpretation, a substantial system of molybdenite mineralization covers approximately 800 metres by 500 metres from near-surface to depths of at least 300 vertical metres (see Figure 1).

Several holes, as indicated, ended in mineralization and the mineralization is open in several directions (please refer to Azure's press releases dated September 11, 2007 and November 12, 2007, for more details).

Samples were assayed at ALS-Chemex (Vancouver) using initially ICP-AES method followed by re-assaying for higher grade molybdenum with X-Ray Fluorescence. Intercepts were calculated using the Micromine intercept calculator as reported by Azure in a press-releases dated November 12, 2007, and September 11, 2007. These holes are reconnaissance drilling and the orientation of the mineralized structures is not yet established; hence it is not possible to comment on the "true width" of the mineralized intersections.

(i) indicates holes ended in mineralization.

The Joint Venture partners intend to conduct additional drilling. The large number of assays exceeding 0.1% MoS2, indicate that more extensive higher-grade zones may be present.

The Phase 2 drill program comprised five diamond core holes (PDN-DD-003 to 007) and one diamond core tail extending the previously drilled PDN-DD-02, all totaling 1,331 metres. Phase 1 consisted of two diamond drill holes and four reverse circulation (RC) holes. Drill hole details are presented as an addendum in Table 2.

Mineralization is present as veins and coarse to fine disseminations of molybdenite hosted within strongly altered quartz porphyry and surrounding sediments (sandstones and siltstones). Chalcopyrite (copper iron sulphide) mineralization is also present in the drill core, producing low copper grades. Low grade silver mineralization is also present throughout the system.

Geoinformatics - Azure Joint Venture

The Pozo de Nacho Project is part of a larger joint venture between Geoinformatics and Azure in which Azure is earning a minimum 51% interest in 14 Geoinformatics-owned projects in Sonora, Mexico. Under terms of the Joint Venture agreement, Azure must spend US$4 million on the projects by July 2009 to earn a 51% interest. Drilling is expected on other Joint Venture projects in 2007 and early 2008.

Kennecott - Geoinformatics Alliance Agreement

The Azure Joint Venture properties fall under the Master Strategic Alliance Agreement (the "Alliance Agreement") with Kennecott Exploration Company ("Kennecott"). The Company entered into the Alliance Agreement with Kennecott effective March 2006 under which it is using its proprietary geo-science and technology platform (the "Geoinformatics Process") to identify, prioritize and drill more than 30 high-quality exploration targets over the initial two years of the Agreement. Kennecott has conveyed four "targets-of-merit", including the Whistler Project to Geoinformatics to-date under the Alliance Agreement.

Kennecott retains a one-time back-in right, or a 2% NSR if the back-in right is not exercised, on all projects or properties subject to the Agreement. Please refer to Geoinformatics' press release dated August 14, 2006, for further information.

Technical content for the Pozo de Nacho Project has been compiled by Mr. Pat Manouge, Exploration Manager for Azure, who is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM) and has 13 years of experience in minerals exploration.

About Geoinformatics

Geoinformatics is a global exploration company which has developed a unique and innovative approach to minerals exploration.

In June 2007, Geoinformatics acquired the rights to the Whistler Gold-Copper Porphyry Project (the "Whistler Project") in the prospective Southern Alaskan Range from Kennecott as a "target-of-merit". The Whistler Project includes a large identified gold-copper porphyry system with drill intersections exceeding 220 metres of 1.5 g/t gold and 0.3% copper. The Whistler Project encompasses a 440 square km. land package that has numerous other high-potential copper and gold targets.

In addition to the Whistler Project, Geoinformatics is actively exploring several advanced projects located in Utah, British Columbia, the Battle Mountain Trend region of Nevada, and the State of Sinaloa, Mexico. The Company also has an extensive portfolio of other direct and indirect property interests, shareholdings, joint ventures, and royalties covering a wide range of minerals in Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and North America.

The Geoinformatics Process integrates large-scale data aggregation, data mining and three-dimensional modeling, and has been designed to assist in understanding and quantifying risk at a much earlier stage of the exploration cycle than has traditionally been available. The Company's objective is to advance its properties to a stage of commercial development by applying faster, less expensive and more reliable analytical methods to resource exploration.

This news release includes certain forward-looking statements concerning the future performance of Geoinformatics' business operations and financial performance and condition, as well as management's objectives, strategies, beliefs and intentions.
