Northquest Ltd. ("Northquest") (TSX VENTURE:NQ) wishes to announce that it has
today granted an aggregate of 200,000 stock options to an officer of Northquest,
each such stock option entitling the holder thereof to acquire one common share
of Northquest at an exercise price of $0.70 for a period of five years. An
aggregate of 50,000 of such stock options vest immediately, 75,000 of the
remaining stock options vest on February 4, 2012, and 75,000 of the remaining
stock options vest on February 4, 2013. 


Northquest is a mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition,
exploration and development of properties for the mining of gold and other
minerals.
