it makes sense there should be some sort of pricing that is a premium to spot price but below US spot price which incorporates China tariffs. Of course, this assumes the US doesn't impose significant tariffs on Canadian product. (I think it is 4 percent for countries with Most Favored Trade status. It could also be zero tariffs under Free Trade agreement, not sure)

5x to 7x the EBITDA sounds about right for a mining project. At 250k tons, Record Ridge is over $100M EBITDA per year regarless if its raw ore or MgO plant. I dont see more value possible until the 1M+ ton permit is issued and we know this might be another journey by itself.

WHY probably sells a major stake once the ore permit is on hand. Need to wait for ore sales and then $1B plus royalty will seem reasonable. Before permit approval $500M plus royalty might be fair. Tik Tok.

Almost de-risked now. 11 million tons of MAG. At current MAG prices, I could be wrong but I believe after tax NPV is around $2 Billion CAD. That is more than 4-5 times initial full mine capex. Very compelling ratio. A Major could pay many multiples of current market cap and pay for the acquisition with even one year's cashflow :)

What is the value of an operating mine generating a potential $100M/yr earnings with 2 month payback? At least $500M is the answer once a firm offtake is reached. Asia or Europe might be need to be the buyer till NA makes mining and processing a priority. Hard to see the permit not get approved with increasing pressures. Also BC gov seems to care when jobs are on the line so politically it would be bad to not approve this mine without a strong rationale, and none exists so to me an approval is as certain as it gets.
