Moat Homes today announces its consolidated audited financial results for 2022/23 with increased investment in existing and new homes, despite the exceptionally challenging background.

Moat reported a turnover of GBP160m (2021/22: GBP181m), and a surplus of GBP46m (2021/22: GBP48m). The GBP21m reduction in turnover was due to lower development sales.

GBP41m (2021/22: GBP40m) were invested in maintaining and improving existing homes, GBP124m (2021/22: GBP109m) in building new homes.

459 new homes (2021/22: 500) were completed - 94% of which were for rented and low-cost home ownership. 389 new homes (2021/22: 356) were started on site.
