Alexon Group plc has been advised that Mr Leonard David Gelernter (David Gee),
a non-executive director, has today transferred 10,000 ordinary shares in the
company by way of gift to his son Mr Paul Gelernter. His spouse, Mrs GC
Gelernter, has transferred 10,000 ordinary shares by way of gift to their
granddaughter Miss Sophie Levy.

Following these transfers, Mr LD Gelernter's beneficial interest in the
company's ordinary shares has reduced by 20,000 shares to 1,238,708 ordinary
shares.
