BHP Billiton to Settle US Class Action Complaint for US$50 Million

SYDNEY--BHP Billiton Ltd. said it will settle a class action
complaint filed in a U.S. court over the 2015 dam disaster at an
iron-ore mine in Brazil for US$50 million and no admission of
liability.
BHP on Thursday said the agreement is subject to approval by the
US District Court of the Southern District of New York.
