Emblaze Systems and O2 Announce Results for Mobile Video Pilot in the UK

O2 Pilot users say quality of video and ease of use created by Emblaze will
encourage them to continue to use video over mobile services and recommend it to
their family and friends

Ra'anana, Israel, July 7, 2003 - Emblaze Systems Ltd (LSE: BLZ) confirms the
success of 02's commercial pilot of video and audio over mobile using Emblaze's
managed end-to-end video solution. As stated in our announcement on May 14, O2,
using its GPRS network, enabled 262 of its customers to browse, select and
download video clips via a special portal set up by Emblaze.

The pilot focused on three principal areas: streaming video, downloading clips
and video messaging. For the video over mobile trial, Sky provided breaking news
clips three times a day. Sports and movie trailers were the next most popular
categories.

Customers involved in the trial were particularly impressed with the ease of use
of the video streaming services, scoring the service at 7.9 out of 10. 94% of
trialists had demonstrated the service to friends and family. 45% of trialists
were likely or very likely to use a commercial service if it was reasonably
charged.

"The trial has proved an excellent means to engage our key target audiences as
well as gather their views and preferences regarding a mobile video service.
The invaluable experience we have gained in working with the content providers
will be applied to our preparations for a potential commercial launch later this
year." commented James Parton, head of video services for O2.

Itai Ben-Dor, CEO of Emblaze Systems added: "This pilot confirms our belief that
the key to the future success of mobile media services, lies in enhancing user
experience by providing high quality and a variety of innovative services. For
us it is an endorsement of our strategy to provide end-to-end solutions rather
than only one component of the mobile streaming solution, thereby helping
network operators to launch commercial services with ease".
