The issuer has made the following amendment to the 'SAR Disclosure'
announcement released 4 September 2000 at 12:43 under RNS No 3434Q.

In box 2 the 'Resultant total holding of voting shares (and % of total voting
shares in issue)' should read 2,518,272 (14.95%) and not 2,843,272 (16.88%) as
previously stated.

In box 2 the 'Total percentage' should read 14.95% and not 16.88% as previously
stated.

All other details remain unchanged.
