Transaction in own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that on 17 October 2019 it purchased 581,319 of its ordinary shares with a weighted average price of 153.5091 pence per ordinary share pursuant to its US$100 million share repurchase programme, details of which were announced on 14 October 2019. The highest price paid per share was 155.25 pence and the lowest price paid per share was 151.20 pence. Details of the relevant repurchase transactions are set out below:

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 2,664,731 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 153.51337 pence per share.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 13,687,312 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,528,107,458 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
