Conversion of Subscription Shares 
 
The Board of The Eastern European Trust PLC announces that today it issued, 
subject to listing, 603,513 ordinary shares following the exercise of 
Subscription Share Rights by 25 holders of Subscription Shares. The Ordinary 
Shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinary Shares. 
 
It is expected that admission to the Official List and commencement of dealings 
in the Ordinary Shares on the London Stock Exchange will take place at 8.00 
a.m. on 7 October 2010. 
 
Following admission, there will be 49,626,886 Ordinary Shares (excluding shares 
held in treasury) and 9,201,084 Subscription Shares in issue.  4,664,367 Ordinary 
Shares will remain in treasury.
