                                 Trading update

At the time of InTechnology's interim results announcement in November 2003,
Chief Executive Charles Cameron explained that there were encouraging signs of
momentum across the business. This trend has continued through the quarter
ending December 2003 and has resulted in a particularly strong quarter for the
Company.

SSS Division

Strong demand for storage hardware and software has led to a record quarter for
sales by InTechnology's storage division. The performance of the Allasso
division was also very strong, reflecting its rapid and successful integration,
which is now substantially complete. Both divisions have a healthy current
order book.

MDS Division

Sales of Managed Data services have risen above previous monthly run rates and
cumulative contract wins for this division now exceed #55m, up 10 per cent. from
the half year. Recent contracts include a data replication solution for British
Polythene, where InTechnology is using its low-cost infrastructure to provide
solutions previously regarded as expensive by most corporate users. We are
encouraged by the levels of contract renewals from existing clients and also by
purchases of additional InTechnology network services.

Charles Cameron commented, "At the time of our November results I spoke about
how we were preparing our business to accelerate in 2004. Our record
performance in the third quarter of our financial year is confirmation of this
and gives me confidence in a solid outcome for the full year."
