ANNOUNCEMENT


Inveresk PLC ("Inveresk" or the "Company") announces that following the
completion of the sale of the Caldwells' business to Klippan International PLC
and in advance of the proposed re-capitalisation and re-financing of the
Company, Mr A J Cole, the independent non-executive director has resigned from
the Board with immediate effect.  It is anticipated that as part of the process
of re-capitalising the Company, additional non executive directors will be
appointed.
