2003 of dealing in the Company's ordinary shares as follows:

William Carey, Nigel Legge and Andrew Yates, directors of the Company, are
participants in the Company's Employee Share Ownership Plan (the "ESOP") and on
17 December 2003 were allocated 78 ordinary shares each at a price of 479p per
share.

William Carey's total interest following this notification is 1,007,325 ordinary
shares or 2.88% of the total issued share capital of the Company.  Nigel Legge's
total interest following this notification is 880,211 ordinary shares or 2.52%
of the total issued share capital of the Company.  Andrew Yates' total interest
following this notification is 482,792 ordinary shares or 1.38% of the total
issued share capital of the Company.
