RPS finalises Group Leadership Team with three key
appointments
RPS, a leading multi-sector global professional services firm,
today announces that it has finalised its Group Leadership Team
('GLT') with three key appointments. The GLT creates a flatter,
more responsive, organisational structure combining new and
existing leaders who together provide deep expertise, global
perspective and strong functional support. The GLT will support the
Group's CEO, John Douglas, in defining and implementing the Group's
strategy and management of its global operations.
CEO for Consulting UK & Ireland, John Chubb
RPS is pleased to announce that John Chubb has been appointed as
CEO for Consulting UK & Ireland and joined the Group this week.
John has over 25 years' experience in a broad range of engineering
management roles, and for the past eight years has held leadership
positions in Consulting Engineering. After a successful stint as
Managing Director of Grontmij UK, John's last role was as Managing
Director of Sweco Denmark. During this period John served on both
the Grontmij and latterly Sweco Executive Committees, whilst
concurrently holding roles of Executive Chairman for Grontmij
Sweden, and Grontmij UK. John's strong leadership and proven
track-record in raising business performance and building
forward-thinking strategies, will be invaluable in positioning the
business to seize the opportunities that we know are there for the
taking.
New position - Group Director of Strategy, Judith Cottrell
Judith Cottrell has been appointed as Group Director of
Strategy. This is a new position on the GLT. Judith has over 20
years' experience in senior finance and operational roles, latterly
as acting CEO for RPS' Consulting UK & Ireland segment. Judith
started her career qualifying as an accountant with KPMG before
joining AEA, who were focused on Government work and providing
environmental consultancy services. Judith has been with RPS since
2015 and her in-house knowledge of the company, our business model,
operating structure, clients and people, give her a unique
perspective which is highly valued by the GLT. RPS is very pleased
to be retaining Judith and further developing her career within the
Group.
New position - Chief Information Officer, Kelly Olsen
As outlined in the Group's Q3 Trading Update, RPS has also
appointed a new Chief Information Officer. Kelly Olsen started in
the role on 29 October 2018. She also sits on the GLT. Kelly has
over 30 years' experience in business operations and technology
most recently serving as a Non-Executive Director at SMS plc where
she chaired a newly created Information Technology Committee of the
Board, with a remit to review and provide strategic guidance on the
development of the Company's technology programmes. Before this,
she was Chief Information Officer, Head of Corporate Programmes and
Director at NHS Property Services Ltd. This appointment reinforces
RPS' commitment and recognition of the importance of technology in
the business today. It will ensure the Group fully leverages its
digital capabilities to create greater competitive advantage.
Kelly's extensive experience and skill in delivering business
transformation and focus on operational excellence is a welcome and
natural fit to complete our GLT.
