                   NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES 
 
The Directors of Syndicate Asset Management Plc (AIM: SAM), the fund management 
group, have been notified on 15 September 2010 that Cygnet Capital LLC 
("Cygnet") acquired an additional 20,000,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 
7 September 2010. This brings the total holding of Cygnet to 93,258,924 
ordinary shares in the Company, representing approximately 5.1% of the issued 
ordinary shares.
