Big oil producers said they would limit output for the rest of
2018 and perhaps longer, continuing a pact aimed at lifting
prices.

U.S. stocks retreated, with Apple among the hardest hit. The Dow
fell 201.95 points to 24462.94.
SunTrust said an employee may have stolen the data of about 1.5
million customers and provided it to a "criminal third party."
Wells Fargo was fined $1 billion over claims of misconduct in
its auto- and mortgage-lending businesses.
Barclays said its CEO will keep his job after he was fined for
his attempts to unmask a whistleblower.
