Imagine a Nascar Race with only Teslas and BYD Chinese cars. Byd would easily lap teslas a few times since Byd cars charge so fast in less than 5 Minutes! While teslas take 20 minutes.

Drinking some good Tea with the good old boys from the club Sons of Liberty in the late 1700's must have been some grand old time.

Well Justine Bateman had a nicer view of Elon which I think would be a good one for children. She says, I hope school children are being properly told of all the good things Elon Musk has done for the country and the world. He is exactly the type of person who should have a statue erected, honoring him.

Yes beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I agree with Justine’s view!!! But I can understand other viewpoints.

I think it all comes down to a rich South African controlling our country. If you're fine with that then let us know. I personally am very ashamed and I don't so much care for his piece of shit cars but beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

If SpaceX went public he could have quite a bit of funds even though he’s borrowed against Tesla to buy into more businesses like Twitter!!? Or if he settled with the Delaware court and the judge agreed that he should be the highest paid CEO in history which is like $100 million a year, he’d have some funds there as well!!! He gave Tesla stock to like 10 charitable organizations!!! And maybe the judge and shareholders could make it right so that he got 25% by having higher voting rights on the shares received and he could use some of that payout to give a bonus to deserved employees!!! Just thinking out loud IMO!

After this period of adjustment, I think it will be difficult for Tesla to return to its previous highs in the short term.

Elon has borrowed against his Tesla share holding to fund SpaceX (and xAI etc).
Going to get very interesting if the price drops significantly lower as the value of his shares may not cover the commitments and could be called.

Tesla technology is very old and they need a more modern look as well although the style for a robotaxi probably is ok - so long as you can get into it from a kerb height sidewalk. Whenever I get into a Lyft/Uber Tesla I have problems as I am on the kerb and the car is so low down…

Just check the looks of modern competitors as well as their pricing.

Lucid offered to sell them the more modern motor technology that is smaller, lighter and significantly cheaper and they turned them down. Where is Teslas next generation of motors?

Seems price is being held up by some sympathy buying as these attacks on showrooms and cars are criminal. I have a feeling though that the down turn in sales (not related to delays on the model Y revamp IMHO) will continue to send the price back down. How the Chinese react to FSD will be telling as well, supposedly the AI drive capability for non urban roads is an issue but probaby is for all manufacturers.

The speed of innovation in China is incredible though with BYDs new 5 minute charge, fast battery swap and significantly cheaper models giving Tesla a head wind.

Amazing how many shorts are spewing B**? now.. Tesla is still the EV company out there... and will continue to be... everyone tries to copy Tesla, (they can't)

Need to do something about the batteries. Too many fires and not getting the claimed range. That is why I got rid of my Model S. Range was not even close to what they said. Too much time spent at the Super Charger. Then Elon upped the charging rate and this is no longer cheaper than a gas car, not to mention 50% more to insure and likewise to repair. Glad I was able to sell it, but lost a bundle

Since the resumption of Model Y deliveries, sales have increased by about 1.5k each week. So the 17k this week for my trajectory to beat Q1 seems possible.

There are also rumors that we will no longer get weekly car sales data from China.
