NETSET Is First Electronic Payment Services Organization to Receive
Quality Assurance Designation PHOENIX, Dec. 20

announced today that its NETSET multi-technical services
organization has been awarded the International Organization for
Standardization ISO9001:2000 certification for quality assurance in
Brazil. The certification recognizes the consistent and steady high
quality of NETSET's services to financial institutions, credit card
acquirers and processors that use point-of-services devices, and
positions NETSET to expand its services beyond the traditional
point-of-services market. The certification indicates that NETSET
adheres to stringent quality management standards for products and
services established by the International Organization for
Standardization (ISO) to serve as a guide for organizations that
want to better serve their clients. Fundacao Vanzolini, a
non-profit foundation working with professors from the Engineering
Department within Sao Paulo University's Technical School, awarded
the certification based on its evaluation of NETSET's operations,
focusing on the organization's management system, electronic
transaction, help desk, back office and field services. Hypercom's
NETSET Services Division is the largest multi-technical services
organization for the electronic transaction industry in Brazil.
NETSET serves more than 450,000 customers in the retail, financial
and healthcare sectors through several authorized service centers
all over the country and more than 1,200 field technicians capable
of handling more than 80,000 calls per month. It has installed, and
provides ongoing maintenance, training, support and management for
