PILAT TECHNOLOGIES INTERNATIONAL LIMITED

DIRECTORATE CHANGE

The Board of Pilat Technologies International Limited ("Pilat" or the
"Company") are pleased to announce the appointment of Trevor Toolan as a
non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.

Mr Toolan, now retired, was previously executive chairman of Pilat (UK) Limited
and played an instrumental role in building the Pilat business in the UK.  He
joined Pilat from British Rail, where he served as personnel director, and was
previously personnel director of Land Rover.  With knowledge of the Pilat
business, his HR consulting expertise and his extensive senior management
experience, the Board expects that he will make a substantial contribution to
the Board.

Further information

Mr Toolan, aged 62, is currently a director of the following companies: Pilat
(UK) Limited, Young Enterprise and The Young Women's Christian Association
Central Club.

Mr Toolan has confirmed that there is no further information that requires
disclosure as a result of the requirements of Rule 15 and Schedule Two(f) of
the AIM Rules for Companies.
