Air Liquide Wins New Gas-Supply Contract at Polish Site

Air Liquide SA has signed a new contract to supply oxygen and
nitrogen at the Glogow site belonging to Polish copper-and-silver
producer KGHM Polska Miedz SA, it said Tuesday.
The French industrial-gas supplier said that as part of the
long-term contract, it will invest around 40 million euros ($47.3
million) to construct an air separation unit (ASU). The new
installation will add daily oxygen capacity of more than 1,200
metric tons, Air Liquide said, taking total oxygen capacity at the
site to close to 2,800 tons per day.
The company didn't disclose financial details of the new
contract.
