U.S. Dollar Rises Against Majors

The U.S. dollar strengthened against the other major currencies
in the Asian session on Tuesday.
The U.S. dollar rose to an 8-day high of 120.57 against the yen
and a 4-day high of 1.1172 against the euro, from yesterday's
closing quotes of 120.45 and 1.1185, respectively.
The greenback advanced to 1.5140 against the pound and 0.9767
against the Swiss franc, from yesterday's closing quotes of 1.5145
and 0.9752, respectively.
Against the Australian, the New Zealand and the Canadian
dollars, the greenback edged up to 0.7066, 0.6489 and 1.3097 from
yesterday's closing quotes of 0.7080, 0.6484 and 1.3084,
respectively.
If the greenback extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
support around 122.00 against the yen, 1.10 against the euro, 1.50
against the pound, 0.98 against the franc, 0.69 against the aussie,
0.62 against the kiwi and 1.34 against the loonie.
