The new connectors are designed for use with high speed over copper data transfer SFP, XFP, and X2 transceivers and EMI cages. Methode�s XFP connectors have been tested for speeds up to 10 Gbps. The SFP connector is a 20-position design, the XFP is a 30-position design, and the X2 is a 70-position design. Plating options are available in 15u� gold and 30u� gold. Contacts are gold plated phosphor bronze within an LCP insulator housing. The connectors are highly durable and provide reliable operation in a wide range of temperatures and environments. SFP, XFP, and X2 connector samples are available from stock. Rapid response production times are available and pricing is based on quantity.
