Netflix, Nickelodeon Sign Multi-Year Deal to Produce Films, Series

Netflix Inc. (NFLX) and Viacom Inc.'s (VIA) Nickelodeon said
Wednesday that they entered a multi-year deal to produce original
animated films and television series.
The deal will see the companies produce material based on the
Nickelodeon library of characters as well as new properties, they
said.
Upcoming offerings include the kids animated series "Dino Girl
Gauko" from Japan, which begins streaming November 22, and "Fast
& Furious Spy Racers" from DreamWorks, which begins streaming
December 26, the companies said.
Viacom's merger with CBS Corp. (CBS) is expected to close early
next month.
