On May 27, 2015, the Board of Directors of Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. approved a cash dividend of $0.06 per common share, payable on July 15, 2015, to stockholders of record at the close of business on June 30, 2015. A press release announcing the cash dividend payment was issued on May 29, 2015. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.

Wilshire Bancorp Increases Quarterly Cash Dividend 20% to $0.06 Per Share
LOS ANGELES (May 29, 2015) Wilshire Bancorp, Inc. (NASDAQ: WIBC), the parent company of Wilshire Bank, announced today that the Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.06 per common share. The dividend will be paid to all stockholders of record as of June 30, 2015, payable on July 15, 2015. The $0.06 per common share dividend represents a 20% increase from the dividend of $0.05 per common share paid in the prior quarter.
We are very pleased that our strong financial performance and robust capital ratios have enabled us to increase the amount of capital that we return to our shareholders, said Jae Whan (J.W.) Yoo, President and CEO of Wilshire Bancorp.
