revenue increased a bigger-than-expected 3% on growth at the Turner

earnings were hurt by unfavorable weather, along with plant outages
and higher costs in Latin America. Shares fell 1.5% to $81
premarket.
Mondelez said its third-quarter earnings fell 11%, as the snack
maker was hit by weaker revenue. But the bottom line was stronger
than expected, and the company raised its profit outlook for the
year. Shares gained 4.8% to $36.70 premarket.
Chesapeake Energy Corp. (CHK) said its third-quarter profit more
than tripled, as the company posted sharply higher revenue in its
natural-gas and oil segment and increased production. Shares were
up 3.3% to $21.99 premarket.

increase 8% to 10% on average over the next three years, with

as the power generator posted higher revenue. But the company
lowered its full-year guidance, citing a lack of summer weather
events.
Raytheon Co. (RTN) said it acquired surveillance and
cybersecurity company Blackbird Technologies for $420 million.

North and Latin America.

and operating earnings improved, largely driven by contributions
from the media company's stake in satellite radio company SiriusXM
Holdings Inc.
Pioneer Natural Resources Co. (PXD) said its third-quarter net
income surged, as the company saw success from horizontal drilling
at its Spraberry/Wolfcamp operations in West Texas.
