Chemists Society (AOCS) has awarded Randal
Hill, Ph.D., Research Fellow and Formulation Development
Manager at Flotek Industries, Inc. (NYSE: FTK), the 2017 Samuel
Rosen Memorial Award. This award recognized Dr. Hill's outstanding
accomplishments in the next generation of Flotek's Complex
nano-Fluid® chemistries, and other high-performance products
for upstream oil and gas.
The Samuel Rosen Memorial Award was established by the
Surfactants and Detergents Division of AOCS to recognize industrial
accomplishments in surfactant chemistry. The award includes a
$2,000 honorarium and an award
lecture at the AOCS Annual Meeting, taking place on May 2 in Orlando,
FL.

and innovation efforts at Flotek, including the development of more
than 40 approved and pending patents related to our oilfield

Dr. Hill joined Flotek in 2011. In 2015, he became the

The Samuel Rosen Memorial Award
is sponsored by Milton J. Rosen, and
was created in honor of Samuel
Rosen, who worked for more than 40 years as an industrial
chemist. Dr. Hill is Flotek's second recipient of the prestigious
award, preceded by Charles Hammond,
Ph. D, in 2015.
