Gold-Ore Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: GOZ) is pleased to report initial results from the on-going underground diamond drilling conducted at the Bjorkdal Gold Mine in Sweden. The 100%-owned Bjorkdal Mine has operated since 1988 and will produce its millionth ounce during 2010.

Drilling Summary

During the last six months, the Company drilled 5,027 metres in 49 core holes (3,400 underground and in the open pit, 600 metres for resource expansion and 1,027 metres exploring Ronnberget) and will continue to drill throughout the year. Drilling is currently ongoing with two diamond drills and it is anticipated that a total of 10,000 metres will be drilled in 2009. This activity is being financed entirely from cash flow from gold produced at Bjorkdal.

The underground drill pattern is based on 20 metre spaced sections to accommodate reserve definition. The first 25 holes were drilled in the Centrala Zone where they intersected a series of gold-bearing quartz veins of minable width and grade. The Centrala Zone represents an area of significant gold-bearing veins that are readily accessible for mining. A crosscut to access the mineralization has been started and the first vein has been reached. Mining will take place concurrently with all of the other active mining blocks within the deposit. The table below lists the significant results of the first 15 holes.

The Company only releases drill intersections deemed to be significant. If a drill hole cuts mineralization with gold values greater than 2.5 g/t across a true width of approximately 2.0 metres or more, it is released. This criterion is based on the mining methods employed at Bjorkdal where mining widths vary from 2.5 meters to 5.0 metres. The multiple intersections in many of the holes reflect different veins within the vein swarm.

Future Drilling Plans

All mining activity conducted by Gold-Ore over the last 3 1/2 years has been restricted to a swarm of quartz veins (over 40 veins in total) in a footprint measuring 1,200 metres across strike and 150 metres along strike. The on-strike extension of the vein swarm to the north represents an extremely large target that has been tested with less than 10 drill holes, many of which intersected significant gold grades. An exploration tunnel, scheduled for completion within 60 days, is being driven along one of the quartz veins to access this target. A diamond drill will be located in the tunnel to test the on-strike potential of the quartz vein swarm. If the drilling is successful there is potential to double the footprint of the vein swarm and significantly expand mine life.

Sample Protocol and Chain of Custody

In order to minimize the effects of the coarse nugget gold at Bjorkdal, the Company has elected to submit 100% of the core for analysis, rather than retaining half of the core for archive. This provides a much larger sample for gold analysis and theoretically a more representative result. The core is logged and photographed, and for the zones sampled, the entire core is shipped to ALS Chemex for gold analysis. A rigorous QA/QC program is employed that involves the insertion of blanks and certified standards.
