ADRs End Mostly Lower, Azul S.A., Adidas Trade Actively

International stocks trading in New York closed mostly lower on
Friday.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts
fell 0.3% to 153.07. The European index climbed 0.2% to 146.69, the
Asian index declined 1.3% to 181.59, the Latin American index
increased 0.6% to 187.67, and the emerging markets index dropped
1.5% to 301.44.
ADRs of Azul S.A. on Friday fell 5.9% on its first trading day
following a blank-check company merger. AMCI Acquisition Corp. II
combined with carbon capture business LanzaTech NZ Inc.
ADRs of Adidas AG fell 0.7% after the German sportswear company
warned that it could post a loss in 2023 if it fails to sell its
inventory of Yeezy shoes, made within a partnership with Kanye West
that was recently terminated.
