Beyond THIS I dunno.

Do you think the interest rates for bank loans will go up or down in the next month or two ?

still holding.... albeit BV has dropped considerably do to AOCI... but earnings are good

(I didnt account for the expenditure of them retiring over 10% of the OS)

most likely will have to adjust it upward as the company buy back of shares has bumped up the book value. I think were now at ~ $36 per share.

There have been some really high buyouts in the banking sector. One recent buyout went at 3X

All the really cheap shares gone for now.

I've traded a lot of these small regional banks and often hold them for years, in which time they gradually usually appreciate, and with some, like UNTN there is the benefit of a divy.

The jackpot is often a buyout, and when they occur its often (but not always) over book value. For a bank like UNTH to be bought out at 1.5X book -- or around $45.00 per share is not out of the question.

This bank has been in business since 1934. Its a solid conservative investment.

Have you noticed the bid keeps creeping up -- but no sellers.

Keep in mind that it only took around 20k shares in sales to drive the price down to these levels. Looks to me like its going to rise from here.

Be patient. Most likely due to *liquidity and worry over loan defaults (think housing crisis), MANY micro regionals too huge hits during the pandemic sell off.

As examples of others doing well and trading way below BV you can check out FUNC and FCCY. (I own shares of FUNC). There are many others.

Their earning -- across the board -- took a hit but not all that bad. UNTN has been serving their community since 1934 and they're not going anywhere. Check out their FB page and you'll see that oodles of happy customers.

They will do just fine.

Not exactly making their target price posted 8 months ago.

filled yesterday on bid at $18.6

I got a fill awhile back on my bid, but lately they've slapping the ask and widening the spread. Ok by me.

They just put a promo video on their FB page.

Did you read the LAST Q?

Bank is doing very weil with earnings of .30 cents on the quarter and .65 on the first 6 months of the year. If you follow regional banks - they're relatively well --- and superb compared to some.

... AND BOOK VALUE NEARLY $31.00 PER SHARE

I added more at $17.00 and have bids in lower if for some reason they sell it down.

Harbor Bank of Maryland - HRBK. They took that stock from .45 cents on Wed last week to over $8 bucks on Monday. Sold all my thousands of shares on Monday. Today the stock is back down to a buck.
