LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Jun 11, 2014) - Upper Street
Marketing Inc. (OTC Pink: UPPR) (PINKSHEETS: UPPR) announced today
that John Pattyson, Entertainment Executive and three-time Emmy
Award winner, has joined the Company as a Strategic
Partner. Mr. Pattyson's role will center on the intersection
and impact of new technology within the entertainment industry.
Mr. Pattyson is a 30-year veteran of the entertainment industry
with roles ranging from an on-air Sportscaster for NBC, launching
the PM/Evening Magazine series, and producing and directing more
than 2,000 hours of network, cable and syndicated television
programming.
He was instrumental in creating and developing the marketplace
for EPKs (electronic press kits) and worked on more than 400 of
them for films including Gladiator, Cliffhanger, Batman Returns,
Waterworld and more. He's worked with actors such as Brad
Pitt, Sylvester Stallone, Charlize Theron and Robert DeNiro, and
directors such as Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg and Joel
Schumacher, amongst many others.
He won a national award for the first ever 3D television
program, which he produced, wrote and directed about the "Concours
d'Elegance," the famed automotive show in Pebble Beach, CA.
When streaming video was in its infancy, Mr. Pattyson led the
entertainment division for UStream.tv, where he produced the first
ever live-streamed event from the Red Carpet premiere of the TV
Show "Dirty Sexy Money" starring Donald Sutherland and William
Baldwin.
Most recently, Mr. Pattyson helped launch the Entertainment
division of Immersive Media, which is a 360-degree video and
live-streaming platform. In this role, he worked with global
media companies, top ad agencies and major tier-one brands. Most
recently he forged a partnership with Conan O'Brien and Team Coco,
filming the NCAA Final Four in Dallas, Texas. For a segment with
Conan, his work has been submitted for Emmy award
consideration.
Given Mr. Pattyson's successful track record working with new
technology, Executives, Stars, Celebrities, Brands and
entertainment industry organizations, Upper Street Marketing,
through its first acquisition MagMo, will seek to utilize Mr.
Pattyson in a variety of roles within the company.
MagMo, which stands for Magazine Moment, is a tool for Major
Brands and Celebrities to promote their own content to their own
audience. Acting as an engagement platform, MagMo looks to
provide a tool for organizations to "show their stories" in a more
vibrant and useful way.
