The Company was informed on 1 March 2004 by Citibank N.A. on behalf of Standard
Life Investments ("Standard Life") that, on 27 February 2004, Standard Life sold
262,123 ordinary shares of 12.5p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on
behalf of Standard Life Group and, as a result, now has an interest in 2,891,015
Ordinary Shares, representing 10.33 per cent. of the Company's issued ordinary
share capital. This interest is registered under Stanlife Nominees Limited.
