       Japan Bank for International Cooperation Issues Global Dollar Bond

             - Fifteenth Issuance in International Capital Market -


1.         Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC; Governor: Koji
Tanami) signed on November 16, 2007 in New York an agreement for the issuance of
a fixed rate Global Dollar Bond (the Bond) with Japanese government guarantee.
The terms of issuance were decided on November 15, 2007.  The issue was sold to
prime international investors mostly in Asia, Europe and the United States.
