Transaction in Own Shares

EPE Special Opportunities Limited (the "Company") announces that, on 10 December 2018, it transferred a total of 849,626 shares of 5 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") from the Company's treasury to the trustee of the Company's JSOP Scheme (the "EBT") (the "Transfer"). The Transfer will allow awards to be made under the Company's JSOP Scheme.

The Transfer was made at a price of 160.00 pence per share, representing the closing share price of the Company's Ordinary Shares on the day of the Transfer.

The number of Ordinary Shares in issue, not held by the Company in treasury, following the Transfer and the figure to be used as the denominator for calculations of interests in the Company's voting rights is 29,149,464 Ordinary Shares.

The number of Ordinary Shares held by the Company in treasury following the Transfer is 916,250 Ordinary Shares. In accordance with DTR 5.5.1R of the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules (which applies to the Company pursuant to its bye-laws), the 916,250 Ordinary Shares held in treasury as a percentage of the total voting rights of the Company is 3.1%. Ordinary Shares held in treasury are excluded from the total voting rights figure.
