Pannal plc (the "Company") - amendment to details of shareholding

It has come to the attention of the Company that the reference in its admission
document dated 21 February 2005 to 1,300,000 shares in the Company (amounting to
3.09 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company on admission
("Admission") of the Company's shares to trading on the Alternative Investment
Market of the London Stock Exchange plc) being issued to Ludgate Investments
Limited should in fact have referred to such shares being taken up on Admission
by Ludgate 181 (Jersey) Limited.  Ludgate 181 (Jersey) Limited's holding of
shares in the Company upon Admission was, accordingly, 3,800,000 (amounting to
9.04 per cent of the issued share capital of the Company on Admission).
