RMR Plc ("the Company")

The Company was notified today that David Jones, a substantial shareholder,
disposed of 350,000 ordinary shares at 7.5 pence per share on 22 May 2001. In
addition, the number of shares held by his pension fund has increased by
13,667 ordinary shares. Mr Jones continues to retain an interest in 3,567,631
ordinary shares (3,520,631 shares plus 47,000 shares in pension fund) of 10
pence each representing 6.47% of the issued share capital.
