                SatCom appointed as global Distribution Partner
                  for Inmarsat's new satellite phone services

SatCom Group Holdings plc (AIM: SGH), a reseller of mobile satellite
communications, announces that it has been awarded full Distribution Partner 
("DP") status for Inmarsat's forthcoming satellite phone services.  SatCom is 
one of the first companies to be awarded full DP status for these services.
Inmarsat's voice services will initially be focussed on the African, Middle
Eastern and Asian Markets, with network coverage set to increase to cover the
globe by the end of 2008.

Satcom currently sells significant volume of voice services through Iridium and
Thuraya.  Inmarsat's entry into the hand-held voice market follows its
collaboration agreement with ACeS, the Asian hand-held satellite services
operator.

Commenting on the announcement, Mark White, Chief Executive of SatCom Group
Holdings plc, said:  "This is a significant deal for SatCom and will add to our
