Results of Public Inquiry
Further to the announcements made on 9 and 24 August 2004 the Board of 2 Travel
Plc (the Company") announces the Transport Commissioners decision relating to
the Company's local bus service reliability.
The Traffic Commissioner concluded that the Company had without reasonable
excuse failed to operate registered local bus services. The Company operates 52
buses out of its total vehicle fleet of 100 public service vehicles (PSV's) on
such services.
As a result of this failure the Traffic Commissioner attached a condition to the
licence that, for a period of 12 months, from 25 August 2004 the Company shall
not use vehicles on any local services other than those currently registered. In
respect of the Gwent Joint Passenger Transport area the period is extended to
two years.
Additionally the Traffic Commissioner has imposed a fine of #550 per vehicle on
the local bus service fleet equating to #28,600.

The Board commented that the Traffic Commissioners decision would not impact on
the Company's current operations or restrict the number of vehicles the Company
is authorised to operate. The Board welcomes the Traffic Commissioners decision
not to deregister any of the services currently registered.
