Thomas Walker PLC ("Thomas Walker" or "the Company") announces that John Lomer, 
the Group's Finance Director, has requested the Board to allow him to stand down 
temporarily from his duties with immediate effect. 
 
 
Mr Lomer has informed the Board that he wishes to participate, as a prospective 
buyer, in discussions to acquire one of the Company's trading subsidiaries.  In 
order to manage any possible conflicts of interest, the other members of the 
Board have resolved that it is in the best interests of the Company to agree to 
Mr Lomer's request.  Accordingly, whilst these discussions are continuing, Mr 
Lomer will be taking no further part in the management of the Company. 
 
 
There can be no certainty that the discussions with Mr Lomer will lead to an 
agreement for the disposal of any of the Group's businesses.  Further updates
