Krishnan, an India native who
immigrated to the United States to
finish his education and start his career, has completed his new
book "Ford According to Ram": an insider look into one of America's
most beloved companies.

According to Ramikrishnan, "My grandfather, Dr. Minahshi
Sundaram, was a retired state assistant director of Public Health
in Madra (now Tamil Nadu), India.
He would have been proud of me. He was one of the earliest Ford
Model T owners in the city of Madras (now Chennai). We used to have fun starting the car
using the iron rod in the shape of a "T", inserting in the crank
shaft from the front and rotating it round and round with force
until the car started!"
The author graduated from the Ramakrishna Mission High School in
the city of Madras (Chennai) in 1961. After getting a Bachelor of
Education degree in mechanical engineering, he came to the United States on a research fellowship in
Brooking, South Dakota,
South Dakota State University.
Ramakrishna graduated from South Dakota State
University with a master's degree in mechanical engineering.
He specialized in industrial engineering. After Ministry of Micro,
Small, and Medium Enterprises in 1971, he went to Carlton School of Management, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and received his Master of Business
Administration in 1974.
The author then spent two-plus years in Burroughs, Corporation
in Detroit as a management systems
analyst. He joined Ford in 1978 and retired in 2017 after
thirty-nine years. It is his lifelong dream to write this book
about his experiences.
