3M Chief Financial Officer Nick Gangestad to Retire

3M Co. said Nicholas Gangestad plans to retire as senior vice
president and chief financial officer.
The St. Paul, Minn., manufacturing and technology giant said it
has named Monish Patolawala, currently chief financial officer of
General Electric Co.'s GE Healthcare unit, will succeed Mr.
Gangestad, effective July 1.
3M said Mr. Gangestad, who joined the company in 1987 and has
been chief financial officer since 2014, will stay on through July
31 to assist with the transition.
Mr. Patolawala, 51 years old, joined GE Healthcare as chief
financial officer in May 2015.
