WILMINGTON, Del., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- September 16 will mark the inaugural DuPont Fab 4000 "Day of Caring" event in communities across the United States. The event is made possible through the efforts of DuPont distributors, DuPont(TM) Corian(R) certified fabricators and The Storehouse of World Vision, a non-profit network that provides building supplies and other products to communities in need. DuPont Fab 4000 event will help The Storehouse of World Vision in their efforts to improve the housing conditions of low-income families. More than 150 registered DuPont(TM) Corian(R) certified fabricators across the nation volunteered to fabricate 4,000 vanity tops during this one-day event. The tops will be integrated with other manufacturers' components to make a complete vanity, then be donated to The Storehouse of World Vision, who will distribute the finished items to low-income families in local communities. Many DuPont professionals and distributors have also pledged their time tomorrow to volunteer at local sites during the event.
