Vivendi SA said Thursday that it has crossed the 25% threshold in Lagardere SCA's share capital.

The French media giant said it held 26.7% in Lagardere's share capital and 20.2% in voting rights as of Sept. 30.

The announcement comes a week after Groupe Arnault built a stake of more than 5% in Lagardere.
