Total Subsidiary Saft to Build Energy Storage System in Finland

Total SA (FP.FR) said Wednesday that its fully owned Saft
subsidiary will build a lithium-ion energy-storage system in
northwest Finland.
The French energy giant said Saft received an order for three
Intensium Max 20 High Energy containers from Finnish wind developer
and operator TuuliWatti. The system has a storage capacity of 6.6
megawatts per hour and is set to deliver 5.6 megawatts of power for
frequency regulation throughout its 15-year lifetime, Total
said.
