maXTouch® controllers have been designed into more than
30 Windows® 8 touch-enabled products ranging from
tablets to Ultrabooks and notebook PCs.

As a co-engineering collaborator with Microsoft, Atmel has
helped develop high-performance touchscreen specifications for
Windows 8 including first-touch latency, finger separation and
support for up to 10 simultaneous touches including edge
gestures.
Almost all of the 30 plus Windows 8 projects powered by Atmel
maXTouch controllers will hit the market by the end of this year.
These touch-enabled devices are developed by Microsoft and other
leading worldwide device manufacturers.
