Cypress Semiconductor Corp. shares recently traded up 48% to $22.63 Tuesday following the company saying the Committee on Foreign Investment in the U.S. cleared its sale to Infineon Technologies AG.

The $23.85-a-share deal remains subject to approval by China's State Administration for Market Regulation.
