Kura Sushi USA, Inc. (“Kura Sushi” or the “Company”), (NASDAQ: KRUS), a technology-enabled Japanese restaurant concept, today announced that Treasa Bowers has been appointed to serve as an independent member of the Board of Directors effective July 9, 2024. Ms. Bowers has also been appointed to the Audit Committee and Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors.

Ms. Bowers is the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for 7-Eleven, Inc., where she leads the company’s talent strategy, overseeing talent acquisition, talent management, training and development, total rewards and employee relations.
