KVH Industries, Inc., (Nasdaq: KVHI) announced today that it has received a $1.1 million order for its DSP-3000 fiber optic gyros (FOGs) from a U.S. military customer. KVH�s compact, highly accurate FOGs will be used for real-time image synchronization and stabilization in military training simulator systems. In addition, KVH�s TG-6000 FOG-based inertial measurement unit serves as a key component in the guidance system of the U.S. Navy�s MK54 lightweight torpedo.
